Stopped by here on a motorcycle trip through the region. The chaps that run the place kindly opened up for us, even though they had closed. Top blokes. Great food and reasonably priced if you’re on a budget. Highly recommended.

Baked potatoes made right. Both Pots Madre and Norwegian Cowboy tasted great. Reasonable prices coupled with friendly owners. Would definitely come back again.

I went to Pota Madre April 19, right before the high season begins. It was wonderful. Two young guys were there and very helpful, and spoke great english. I had just finished the Trolltunga hike and wanted to clean up before eating. I went by 40 minutes before they closed to see if they'd still have options if I came back closer to them closing. I came back and was impressed. A large portion of food for a reasonable price, hard to come by in Norway. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend the cowboy, stellar choice.- Mat

When you are in Odda you should definitely go to this place! We had the "Norwegian Cowboy" and the potatoes with BBQ, both were absolutely amazing! In addition to the delicacies, the hospitality and service provided by chef Kaj could not have been better. Thank you!
